WECAN STAND FOR HUMANITY
This week's Stand for Humanity Series features 3 outstanding role models: Tiffany Muller, President of ECU & Let America Vote, Ben Tasker, AI Leader & Strategist, and Lyn Lee, DEI Strategist & Author
We believe in a deeply human future in the age of AI, politics and leadership. This week we stand for humanity in an ever-changing world.
Courage Is Contagious
Democracy requires courage, persistence, and collective action, and with the November 2026 elections around the corner, this is a critical turning point.
Tiffany Muller is a leading advocate for campaign finance reform and the president of End Citizens United and Let America Vote, leading national efforts to combat corruption and curb the influence of big money in U.S. politics.
Over the past 10 years, Tiffany has helped raise over $200 million to help protect and strengthen democracy and has helped elect more than 600 democracy champions.
We, the people, have the power! If we want a government that works for people, we have to get big money out of politics. Whether in America or beyond, the fight against corruption and concentrated power is a shared global challenge and a shared responsibility, and we need to stand together to bring about change.
Do not miss her powerful insights.
“Democracy doesn’t belong to the highest bidder, it belongs to all of us, and it’s up to us to reclaim it.”
AI, A Matter of Urgency!
What does the rapid rise of AI mean for technology, people, institutions, education and society as a whole? We are entering a new reality, often scary and uncertain, that require new systems, mindsets and evolution. Over the next 18–36 months, we will need to evolve quickly and blend technical understanding with distinctly human skills like empathy, creativity, and critical thinking.
Ben Tasker, an AI strategist, adviser and thought leader works at the intersection of technology, education, and organisational transformation, brings us one of the calmest, most reinforced perspectives on artificial intelligence yet!
He helps businesses and individuals navigate the rapid rise of artificial intelligence through upskilling, reskilling, and systems-based approaches.
The World Economic Forum’s skills taxonomy differentiates between human skills and AI skills, with Tasker advocating for responsible, human-centred AI adoption that balances innovation with ethical and societal considerations.
AI is not something happening in the distance. It is here, now, reshaping our world. The question is not whether we adapt, but how.
Do not miss this conversation.
“The future belongs to those who can combine human skills with AI capabilities. We don’t need to fear it, but we do need to take responsibility for how we build and use it.”
Tiny Rice Grains: Curiosity, Courage & Care
With systems and societies shifting rapidly and technology ever evolving, we still rely on people the most for connection, belonging and meaning. Getting those right matters!
Lyn Lee is an author, changemaker, keynote speaker, board member, and former Chief DEI Officer at Shell, and global DEI strategist (FTSE 100), who fosters innovation through diversity and champions inclusive excellence and human-centred leadership.
We need to realign with what makes us uniquely human. Who are the five people you can positively influence today? Where can you show more courage, more care, more authenticity and curiosity? Transforming our world begins with how we show up for each other, and in turn we can start a ripple.
Her book, Tiny Rice Grains, explores the human side of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
Given the business case that diverse and inclusive organisations thrive and drive better performance, the question begs to be asked: Why are so many organisations still struggling to implement and embed DEI in the workplace?
Small actions can have a massive impact: Like dropping a single rice grain into water creates ripples, small acts of kindness and inclusion can have ripple effects, inspiring others to do the same and creating a cascading impact for those around us. Each of our small actions adds up to a greater whole.
“Real leadership lives in the small moments: how we show daily care, curiosity, and courage. Each story a ‘tiny rice grain’ that builds a truly inclusive culture.”
WECAN TAKE CONTROL OF THE FUTURE WE WANT
What are you doing to stand for humanity, what are we missing, what do we need to think about beyond our current stories and insights?
This is a rallying cry for everyone to feel like they matter, their voices matter and that they are needed to vote with everything they’ve got for democracy to prevail.
We all carry a quiet and powerful responsibility in shaping the future. Change begins with us; and the easiest way to start the ripple is by telling our stories.
This week, reach out to one person with courage, care or curiosity, and see the impact a small act has. We would love to hear from you! Tell us your stories!
Until next week ~ With heartfelt thanks and warm regards,
Stephanie x
