In this episode of Shecan’s “Lead with This”, I delve into the essence of womanhood, exploring its significance for both individuals and the collective.
How can we foster a mindset that benefits everyone, avoiding division and confusion?
How can we embrace our full potential without diminishing others or creating fear and anger? On one end of the spectrum, we see the "trad wife," while on the other, the abortion activist. Ultimately, these are women advocating for their convictions.
Is there a path to mutual acceptance and understanding, where we all enjoy freedom, security, and support within a system that ensures autonomy over our physical, mental, and emotional health?
Can we unite in acceptance, allowing everyone to fulfill their purpose and feel valued when we are all free—liberated from restrictive laws, systemic barriers, and societal pressures? What must we protect our womanhood from when it comes to other women limiting our opportunities, jeopardizing our lives, and encroaching on our space?
Can we agree to disagree, even passionately, while upholding laws that serve the greater good for all women?
Can we cultivate a sisterhood that extends beyond differences, rooted in understanding, acceptance, and mutual support?
We should all feel empowered to pursue what we believe is right without harming our fellow sisters. We need to stand against total abortion bans because they endanger women's lives. A sister in need of basic medical care should have our support, not face denial.
Women should unite on essential issues like medical care, physical well-being, safety at home and in public, and access to education and job opportunities.
To nurture the future and the next generations, we must collaborate to ensure the well-being of all women, thereby fostering a healthy next generation. This is impossible if we do not guarantee safety for everyone.
It’s about choosing what feels right for each of us, working towards the greater good rather than against one another. If we are all thriving, isn't that the ultimate objective?
What are your aspirations? What do you wish to bring to life? How can we collectively advocate for positive change, freeing ourselves from shame and guilt that we often cast around like confetti?
Embrace acceptance to accelerate progress. Recognize that we are in this together, more united than divided, and we must invest in women’s potential and well-being to thrive and collaborate.
